Silver Lake Railroad

I think of myself as a railroad "brat" - think Army, Navy, Air Force, etc. - my Dad, uncles, cousins, and both Grandfathers worked/work for the railroad (NYC, PC, CR, Amtrak, CSX) in Upstate New York. I am back in Maine as of November 2010 after a few years' return to NY State.  Miss the sound of CSX and Amtrak going through town on the old NYC water level route main!  But, ME is in the neighborhood, and Amtrak is coming (maybe next year?) so....guess I will have to seek out my rail experiences!
