I am a 70 yr old retired Manchester native that enjoys railroads and rides through the country. I hope to get to the Madison RR before the season ends. I came across it in a communication from the GSA director today. I am a GSA volunteer and this is definitely something that I can promote to people who are coming into the state and wanting to find something to do.. |

About Me
My family and I recently purchased a home in Madison and have enjoyed exploring the local area. My son loves trains, so the SLRR is a must visit! As a photographer, I enjoy the opportunity to see some of Madison's ponds from a new perspective and my husband enjoys the cruise nights. Something for everyone!
How can we improve the SLRR?
Open the hotdogs and ice cream a little before the first ride to give folks an opportunity for an early lunch before the ride. Can help with younger kids with limited patience for a 45 min ride and then sitting for lunch. |
