"Train Rides By Donation? Whats the catch?" Honestly- there isn't one! The Silver Lake Railroad was created to offer a fun and inexpensive family enviornment. Entirely run by volunteers and your Donations we offer scenic 45 minute, 6 mile round trips! The SLRR offers a time to sit back and relax as the scenery rolls by! The Railroad offers 55 Minute Scenic Train Rides, A restored 1910 Railroad Station which is now our Railroad museum, an antique Car Garage, and best of all, a fully restored 1941 Diner which is now an ice cream parlor!  The Silver Lake Railroad is very affordable, and perfect for family fun on an afternoon out!
